Today I'm going to take you through my top 5 lip products for the Autumn/Winter season. Let's get started.
5) To start us off, at number 5 we have a lipgloss by 3 Concept Eyes in Disco. This smells like bubblegum which is absolutely amazing. This lipgloss is very pigmented which provides you with a lovely neon pink colour. If daring colours aren't for you, you could pair this with a dark lip liner ie Sleek's lip liner in Ruby or Burgundy; pairing it with a dark lip liner allow you to create an ombré effect which then minimises the harshness of the pink and creates a softer look. The downside to this product is that if you only apply one layer, it tends to look very streaky.
4) At number 4, we have a lipstick by LA Colors in Matte Blackberry. It is a browny red colour. I was very disappointed when I first used this product due to the fact that it lacks the matte finish I was expecting. Besides that, it is a good lipstick. Not only is it hydrating, it is also long lastin; so you don't have to worry about using Vaseline or having to reapply it numerous times during the day.
3) Now we have another LA Colors lipstick in Matte Fudge. It is a deep chocolate colour. Just like the Matte Blackberry, this lipstick lacks a matte finish. However, it is also hydrating and long lasting. Unlike the Matte Blackberry, this lipstick is more versatile because it is very subtle; allowing you to pair it with bold items of clothing. The Matte Fudge is amazing in the sense that it gives you some freedom when it comes to choosing an outfit to wear as it isn't a very bold colour.
2) Yes, I do have another LA Colors lipstick for you (I promise it's the last one). Here we have Eggplant. I am totally head over heels for this product. I would definitely say that it is my go-to lip product. You can wear it school/college, parties and even work. It is extremely versatile. It can be paired with absolutely any lip colour to create a beautiful ombré look. You can even pair it with the 3 Concept Eyes' lipgloss Disco. This product is similar to Matte Fudge in the sense that they are both extremely hydrating and long lasting, however Eggplant has purple undertones. This makes it a little bit more interesting.
1) Last but not least, we have my all time favourite lip product. The MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Kooky. It is such an amazing purple colour, probably the best purple lip product I have EVER come across. It literally glides along your lips whilst you apply it and since it's so pigmented you only need one coat to achieve a great look. There is one downside to this product, as it is a velvet lip lacquer it has a drying effect on your lips, so I suggest that if you were to purchase this product you should use Vaseline or clear lip gloss before you apply it.
Ok guys, that's it for my top 5 lip products for the Autumn/Winter seasons.
Here they are;
See you soon,
Tee xoxo
