New Years Resolutions.

Hey guys,

2015 is only one week away, which means it's time to start thinking about your New Years Resolutions.

What's a New Years Resolution, you ask? According to the Collins dictionary a New Years Resolution is a:

noun

  1. a promise to yourself or decision to do something, especially to improve one's behaviour or lifestyle in some way, during the year ahead
Here are some ideas for your New Years Resolutions:
Unfortunately, I feel like I haven't made the most of this year and I am settled on making the next year count. In the New Year, I aim to read the Bible more and go to Church more often, spend more time with my family, focus on my education, expand my blog, interact with other bloggers and pursue my dreams.

I hope you're all enjoying this holiday season with your family and friends.

My Christmas Wishlist

Hey lovelies,

9 days to go! Christmas is a time of giving. Whether its giving love, time or money. As Christmas draws closer, I bring to you my Christmas Wishlist.

Let's get started.

1) At the top of my list is the iPhone 6. I've had a crappy iPhone 4 for 2 years and I feel like I deserve an upgrade. Even if it's a very pricey upgrade. The iPhone 6, 16GB sells for £539. Besides needing a new phone, I feel like having an iPhone 6 will benefit my blogging tremendously as it will allow me take higher quality images and videos.

masterful collection onyx black make-up brush set

2) Next on my list is the Masterful Collection Onyx Black Make-up Brush Set from Nanshy. I've recently come across this brand and I've not heard one bad review on this brush set. It sells for £49.95. It is available in both Black and White. I'm in utter need of new, good quality brushes. You can't have flawless make-up without the right tools.

3) The Viva La Juicy Gift Set by Juicy Couture perfume was gifted to me as a present a while ago. It has such a magnificent, sexy floral scent. This set sells for £34.50. I've been meaning to repurchase this set for quite a while now. The packaging absolutely gorgeous. It's got an amazing colour scheme and the perfume bottle itself looks like a piece of art on my perfume shelf.

4) Strappy Heeled Sandals. I've been dying to get my hands on a pair of these heels but I have extremely small feet. Its very hard to find these heels in a size 3. Actually, its very hard to find any type of heels in a size 3. I believe every female should own a pair of these heels. They can be worn for a casual day out or a glamorous night out. This particular pair of heels can be found on the MissGuided website and they sell for £14.99.

5) I also believe that every female needs to own a pair of high waisted jeans. These pair of jeans can be found in Topshop and are referred to as Joni jeans. These jeans are made from extremely stretchy material yet they are still the most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever worn. This particular pair of jeans is sold for £36 however the prices differ depending on the style of the jeans.

These a just a few of the things on my wishlist. I've sent the full list to Santa already.

See you guys soon,

My Christmas Gift Guide: Female Edition.

Hey lovelies,

10 days until Christmas. Still haven't bought your Christmas presents? Don't worry, this gift guide will help you find the best bargains and products to give to your friends and family.

So lets get started;
Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum 75ml Gift Set1)  Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana, Gift Set. This gift set has such elegant packaging. Everything from the simplistic colour scheme to the Dolce's fathers signature. This gift set sells for £59.99. Don't let the price scare you away. This gift set is well worth the money. The perfume has a beautiful fresh floral scent and is suitable for all skin types. Once you start using it, you won't want to stop. The amazing floral scent will soon become your signature scent. This particular gift set includes a 75ml Eau de Parfum + 100ml Body Lotion + 100ml Shower Gel.

2) Lady Million by Paco Rabanne, Gift Set. This perfume also has a floral scent. It is a slightly stronger smell than the previous perfume. However, it is just as amazing. As this has a stronger floral scent, I would recommend that this perfume is used for special occasion. Especially since it's slightly pricier than the previous one. It sells for £45.45. This gift set includes a Eau de Parfum 50ml & Body Lotion 100ml.

Simple Petite & Simple Minis Collection

3) Simple's Petite and Simple Mini's Collection. This collection comes with a Facial Wash, Facial Toner and Light Moisturiser. The Kind to Skin range is an amazing collection that refrains from using harmful ingredients. Simple only uses the most purest possible ingredients, including multi-vitamins and skin-loving nutrients. This set sells for £5.

4) Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser Clear. Maybelline Baby Skin provides an amazing matte finish, eliminating shine and leaves the skin looking refreshed and soft. Its gel texture helps to hide your pores and make your skin feel light. It works as a great primer and it sells for £6.99/£7.99.

5) Navy Single Button Boyfriend Coat. I would highly recommend that every female has one of these jackets in her wardrobe. It should be a staple item in every woman's closet as it can be worn for either day or night. This specific coat can be found in New Look and it sells for £25 (previously £49.99).

6) Cobalt Blue Strappy Heeled Sandals. These heels should also be a staple in every woman's closet. Just like the Boyfriend Coat, this can be worn for a casual day out or a glamorous night out. This particular pair of heels can be found on the MissGuided website and they sell for £14.99.

Ok guys, that's it from me. Hope you have a lovely week.

Get to know me tag!

Hey lovelies,

Today I’ll be doing the tag where I answer 21 questions about myself.
I’ve seen this in quite a few blogs, and I thought it would be a nice idea to do this as well so you guys can know a little bit more about me! I think the more personal you get with your readers, the better :)
Here we go…
1. Are you named after anyone? I'm not entirely sure. I remember my nan telling me that my family used to love Martina Hingis the tennis player, so maybe that inspired them to name me Martina.
2. When was the last time you cried? I don’t normally cry that much… But the last time I cried was Tuesday night. I guess I was just feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of coursework I had to catch up on.
3. Do you have kids? Nope.
4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Yeah, of course!
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Uh… Yeah. I use it on a regular basis. Only with the people I'm close to though.
6. Will you ever bungee-jump? I'm not entirely sure. I really want to go skydiving though!
7. What’s your favorite cereal?  Coco Pops. Muy delicisioso.
8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? I'm not sure. Most of the people I've met, I've seen previously on social media. So I'd say that I notice that they don't sound the way I thought they would have.
9. What is your eye colour? Brown.
10. Scary movie or happy endings? Scary movies. But they tend to have the same storyline.
11. Favorite smells? Coconut. Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana. Petrol.
12. Summer or winter? Winter. I was born in the Winter and I love Winter clothing.
13. Computer or television? Computer – I can watch TV on the computer and do so much more.
14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Florida, USA.
15. Do you have any special talents? I think I’m quite good with languages. I think I'm a great actress, I've been acting and dancing since I was 3. I'd also like to think I'm quite good at gymnastics, I currently do cheerleading and my gymnastics skills help tremendously.
16. Where were you born? Uganda.
17. What are your hobbies? Learning languages, watching TV shows, learning anything new, compulsively shopping, researching and writing about beauty and fashion on my blog, giving advice and relaxing at home with my family.
18. Do you have any pets? No, my guinea pig ran away and my fish died :(
19. Favorite movie? I'm not sure. Despicable Me 1 & 2. Black Nativity. Mrs Doubtfire. I've watched too many.
20. Do you have any siblings? Yes… I'm the oldest of 6. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
21. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a successful lawyer and actress.
That's it.
See you guys soon,

My Favourite Winter Coat

Hello gorgeous,

We are rapidly approaching Winter. This means days will get much colder and the amount of layers you wear will start to increase as the days go by. In this post I will be reviewing my favourite Winter jacket.

The picture you see above is of the Jack Creek Twill Parka by Hollister. It is priced at £109, but it is worth the money. This parka has Sherpa lining which helps to keep you warm through the cold winter days. The faux fur trim on the hood contrasts against the rest of the jacket which is a dark navy colour It's almost as if the faux fur is making a fashion statement of its own. The oversized hood ensures that your ears are not on the verge of catching pneumonia.

A downside to this coat would be that the arm panels don't have any Sherpa lining. This means that if you're out in the freezing cold, your arms won't be as warm as the rest of your body due to the difference in material.

Overall, I think that despite the price this Hollister parka is a jacket every girl must own. It is extremely stylish and suitable for the seasons to come.

First Impression: W7 Eyeshadow Palette, In the Buff

Hello lovelies,

I recently went out shopping and came across a brand called W7. This is a brand that I have never heard of or even come across before. At first glance, the eyeshadows look very pigmented. The 'In the Buff' palette consists of 12 natural nude colours that can be easily blended. All of the colours have a nice shimmer and are very easy to apply. This a palette that EVERYBODY can use. The colours in this palette have the ability to compliment all skin types. You can create loads of dazzling looks for both day and night using this palette. I believe this palette is suitable for all occasions - even work. This palette is an inexpensive dupe for the Urban Decay - Naked 2 palette. I got this palette from my local supermarket for £8 but I believe you can also purchase it online from eBay and Amazon.

First Impression: NSpa Fruity Extracts

Hello lovelies,

Whilst out shopping with my mum yesterday, I came across a variety of NSpa products from their Fruity Extracts range. Having never heard of this brand before, I decided to pick up one of their products. Due to my obsession with the smell of Coconut, I picked up the Coconut Rich Body Butter. One wiff of the body butter and I was in LOVE. I just had to purchase all of the Coconut products and just like the body butter, the other products also smelled absolutely beautiful. It's very rare that I come across a brand that bases their products around one scent and have them smell identical. I was left speechless and I couldn't stop smelling the cream. I am yet to use all of these products but what I can tell you is that the body butter has a very nice consistency and one squirt of the body mist is enough to have you smelling like heaven. These are a great alternative for the Body Shop Coconut range.

Mini Superdrug Haul!

Hello lovelies,

Yesterday I decided to treat myself so I decided to take a trip to Superdrug. The most frustrating thing about my shopping trips is that I spend so much time walking up and down the aisles deciding whether I really need certain items and only end up leaving with very few.

First, let's start off with the Simple Skincare products. All skincare contains no animal derived ingredients. I have very sensitive skin so I tend to stick to products that are either prescribed to me by my doctor or are made from natural ingredients. Each of the Simple products pictured above have at least 2 vitamins that are vital for your skin. I also have very oily skin, hence all the products focus on oil balancing. One thing I noticed is that their 'oil balancing' range is slightly more expensive than their normal range.

My favourite of the 3 would have to be the Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash. I love the see-through packaging. I also love how soft my skin feels as soon as I've washed the product off. My face feels very hydrated afterwards. I have tried other exfoliaters but they've left my face feeling very dry. With this product a little goes a long while. I got this for £2.86 but it's usually £4.29. Such a great deal!

My second favourite is the Oil Balancing Moisturiser, which I got for £2.83 but it's usually £4.25. Another great deal! Just like the other product, a little goes a very long way. It's an extremely hydrating product. The product itself smells very organic, as in it reminds me of nature when I smell it. So if you hate the smell of nature, this might not be the product for you.

My least favourite of the 3 has to be the Cleansing Wipes. They do have these wipes in the 'Oil Balancing' range but they weren't in stock. I think these wipes are ridiculously priced. £1.59 for only 25 wipes? Say what! However, these wipes leave your face feeling very refreshed, light and soft after each use. I wouldn't recommend these wipes for taking off very heavy makeup because you would find yourself using more than one wipe, and since there's only 25 wipes in a pack you'd be taking multiple trips back to Superdrug to repurchase them.

Ok, next up we have makeup. I only bought 2 makeup products because I was being extremely indecisive.

We have the 'Undressed' Eyeshadow Palette by MUA. The palette consists of range of colours including nudes and deep browns. This palette was £4. There are a few things I don't like about it. The applicator it comes with, prevents you from having a very elegant finish. The colours themselves are not very pigmented so you may find yourself having to apply more to achieve your desired look. You get what you pay for. The quality of this product is as expected due to its price.

The last thing I got was the NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara. I absolutely adore this mascara. It has to be the best mascara I've purchased all year. It was £3.99. The wand is curved, which makes the application process a lot easier. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product. It gives you great volume and length, without having to keep dipping the wand back in to get more product. It is also great value for money.

So that's it for today.

See you soon,
Tee xoxo
