My Week in Pictures | 19.01.15-25.01.15

Hey guys,

So I'm back with another #MWIP. I know I've not been posting much this month but I've been really ill. I promise to post more often.

Now let's get started.

1) Last week my drama class and I went to the Donmar Theatre to watch City of Angels. I advise you all to go see it if you can. It is seriously amazing. Usually, i find musicals extremely cheesy but I couldn't take my eyes off the stage. I'm not going to spill the beans just incase any of you decide to go and watch it.

2) Hands up if you love High School Musical? I DO! Luckily enough for me, one of my favourites bird was on tv on my birthday. SO AWESOME! Call me a kid but I just love HSM, infact I love almost every Disney movie; Despicable Me being my favourite movie of all time!

3) For my birthday, my mum surprised me to a birthday dinner at my favourite restaurant. We went to Harvester and the picture you see is of the meal that I had. I know it's against my diet but it's still within my daily calorie allowance. The Original Combo meal consists of Ribs, Chicken, Chips and Salad. It's literally one of the most delicious meals ever!

4) Not only did my mum organise a surprise birthday dinner for me, she also made my birthday cake. This really touched me because I wasn't really expecting anything. She made me a plain sponge cake with red icing and the entire perimeter was covered in chocolate fingers. Cake and chocolate, yum. Talk about a double whammy!

This has to be my most exciting week of the year. Hope you enjoyed. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post.

See you soon,
Tee xoxo

I'm currently working on starting a Q&A segment and I would appreciate if you could send me your questions. It doesn't have to be beauty/fashion/lifestyle related. You could simply ask for advice.

My Week in Pictures | 12.01.15-18.01.15

Hey guys,

I hope you're all having a great week so far and as promised, here's my week in pictures.

1 & 2) If you've read my last #mwip you would know that I'm trying to change my lifestyle around and even if you haven't, you know now. Well as you can see I'm finding it really hard to make that change. Earlier in the week me and my sister tried to recreate a Costa Hot Chocolate (obvious fail!) but believe me it tasted delicious. I'm also die hard fan for bacon on baguettes so this is going to be really difficult.

3) The last picture is of a book that I recently purchased. I came across this book on Instagram, the comments were amazing and so I decided to check it out. Once reading the sample pages I ordered the book and it came the next day. "Make It Happen" by Lara Casey is a motivational book that aims to get you to surrender your fear and take the leap of faith. I would definitely recommend this book to any female to read. I will be doing a full review once I've completed the book.

Last week was a bit boring, but as its my birthday on Sunday (Jan 25th) next weeks #mwip the will be much more interesting.

So that's what I've got up to this week. I hope you've enjoyed this post. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post.

See you soon,

My Week in Pictures | 05.01.15-11.01.15

Hey guys,

Today is the start of a new segment that I will be doing from now on. I'm sure you've seen many other bloggers do it aswell. So here's my week in pictures.

1) For those of you who don't know, I'm 16 years old (17 in 13 days, but who's counting?). With that said, I am currently studying 4 A-Levels (Drama, History, Psychology and Spanish). The first week back to sixth form consisted of mock exams which means intense revision. The first image shows me preparing for one of my History exams on Life in Nazi Germany which is a very interesting topic.

2 & 3) I'm currently trying to change my eating habits but as you can see from the whipped cream on my fruits, I'm finding it a bit hard. I'm trying to snack more healthily and eat smaller portions of food. The third picture shows what I have been having for breakfast recently. Fruit and Fibre with Peppermint tea. I'm in absolute love with Peppermint tea but unfortunately I've ran out. I will be running to the shop to get some more soon.

4) The book in the last picture is something I am currently studying for part of my Drama A-Level. It consists of 3 different plays but I'm only studying the play called "The Chairs" which is about a couple in their 90's that are living in a house surrounded by water. From what I've read so far it seems like the lady suffers from some sort of memory loss hence she keeps making her husband repeat the same story and actions every day. That's as far as I've got up to.

So that's what I've got up to this week. I hope you've enjoyed this post. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post.

KIKO Haul!

Hey guys,

Today's post will be about the products I bought from KIKO and my KIKO experience.

Until Friday, I would always walk passed KIKO; simply because I thought it would be extremely expensive. But for some reason Friday was different.

Have you ever walked into a shop and forget why you walked in there? Well, that happened to me. And not only did I just stand there in amazement, once I had composed myself; I literally went round in circles for 10 minutes trying to pick what to buy. Anyways, long story short; I ended up asking for help and leaving with some amazing products.

1) This is the Smart lipstick in the colour 914. As you can see from the picture, it's an amazing colour. I'm not really sure what the actual colour is called but I would say it's a deep purple with some subtle pink undertones. This was £3.90.

2) This is also a Smart Lipstick but in the colour 915. It's a pinky purple colour, that looks absolutely amazing on. It's extremely moisturising making it perfect for the cold weather. This was also £3.90.

3) The last lipstick I purchased was from the 'Creme Sheen' range in the colour. It's a brown nude with tiny bits of glitter in it. But with that being said you can't feel any hard crystals on your lips. Perfect for the days when you don't want to wear a bold lipstick. This was £6.90.

4) The KIKO Lasting Gel Eyeliner in Black. I have bought so many products that I have been told are good for beginners but I've never used a product that makes my eyeliner application so easy. I'm not saying I've mastered eyeliner because of it but what I am saying is that it is beginner friendly. The downside to this product is that it's colour fades after a while. I believe I bought it for £7.50.

5) I was in desperate need of a concealer/colour corrector and this did the job perfectly! This Full Coverage Concealer in Shade 8 is perfect for women of colour that are trying to rectify dark areas due to hyper pigmentation. It is a brown shade with orange undertones and it's absolutely budget friendly. I got this for £7.50 ( I think).

6) Until I purchased this Smart Eye Pencil, I would attempt to put eyeshadow in my tear duct; which often ended up being very messy. This pencil makes the application process much easier and gives an amazing sparkle to your look. It was £2.50.

7) The last product I bought was a Smart Lip Pencil. It's an amazing shade of purple colour and goes well with the lipsticks I bought. This also cost £2.50.

Overall, I'm in love with these products and the fact that they're budget friendly makes me love them even more.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Comment down below your experiences at KIKO or your favourite product you've purchased and also let me know any ideas for future blog posts.

With that being said, I'm currently working on starting a Q&A segment and I would appreciate if you could send me your questions. It doesn't have to be beauty/fashion/lifestyle related. You could simply ask for advice.

5 Makeup Products I Can't Live Without!

Hey guys,

It's finally Friday! Today's post is a collaboration with Lauren, so make sure you check out her post aswell at http://laurengt94.blogspot.co.uk/.

Let's get started!

1) My big bold curl lash mascara is definitely something I cant live without especially since I have really small eyes. I believe I purchased this mascara from Superdrug for roughly £3. It's a great drugstore product, I will definitely buy more once I'm finished with this one.

2) Next has to be my W7 "In the Buff" Eyeshadow palette. I just can't get around having a full face of makeup and no eyeshadow. The palette itself has such amazing colours and is definitely a more affordable dupe for the Naked palette. I got this from Asda for £7 but you can also find it on Amazon/Ebay.

3) Vaseline. There's nothing I hate more than having dry lips. And for those days where I don't really want to wear lipstick, my Vaseline just adds a very simple glossy touch to my look. I always have atleast 2 types of Vaseline on me just incase I can't find the other. We can't risk having dry lips now, can we? I think I paid £2 for this in the Boots store.

4) MUA Blush in Shade 6. I personally use this for more of a highlighter than a blush because it just gives such an amazing glowy finish. I got this as a present but you can get it from Superdrug for just £1.

5) Real Techniques face brush. The Real Techniques Core Brush set itself has changed my life. Their brushes just make my makeup look flawless. This particular brush is what I use to blend my foundation as I feel like it gives a more effortless finish than the foundation brush itself. I got the set from Superdrug for £21.

So those are the 5 makeup products I can't live without. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Comment down below the products you can't live without and don't forget to follow.

What I Got For Christmas!

Hey guys,

I know it's been a while, I apologise. I've been busy spending time with my family and revising for my exams.

As you can tell from the title, today I will be showing you four of the products that I got for Christmas. Let's get started!

After 2 years of waiting, I finally got a new phone. My mum unexpectedly got me the iPhone 6 in Gold and I must say that it is indeed the best Christmas gift I have ever got. I am absolutely in love with how clear the camera is. Now that I've got a better camera I should be doing " My week in pictures" blog post. So make sure you watch out for those.

The next present I got was a lovely set of underwear from Marks & Spencer's. I have never seen such beautifully packaged underwear hence I haven't unpacked them. The underwear themselves feel unbelievably soft.

My auntie also got me a set of Downton Abbey Hand Creams that were also from Marks and Spencer's. I am yet to try these hand creams as I don't want to ruin the beautiful packaging however they are said to be fragranced with subtle notes of freesia and mandarin. Doesn't that sound absolutely scrumptious?

Besides the iPhone 6, my mum also got me this mi pencil case. I absolutely love the leopard print design and even though it may look small, you can all your essentials in it. I'll definitely be using this during this school term.

So that's all for my Christmas presents. Hope you've enjoyed reading this post. Make sure you follow and comment down below any post suggestions.
