It's Up To You | #WAKEUPWEDNESDAYS

Hey guys,

It's Wednesday! Not only does that mean that the weekend is near; it also means that today is #WAKEUPWEDNESDAY!

I believe that everybody will have had an experience that allows them to relate to this message.

Many of us have had people tell us that we will not pass our exams, we will not be successful and that there is no point trying. Some of us will drop whatever it is we are doing, take in this negative information and let it destroy our self esteem and tarnish our dreams.

Whilst others would pay the people no attention at all because they know what they are capable of, who they are, who they want to be and what they have to do to become that person.

Letting other peoples opinions get to them isn't even a choice because they are so focused on their future, that they have no time to waste on petty things like opinions.

We should all be able to reach a point in our lives where we are so focused on building our empire and making our dreams a reality that NOTHING can distract us.

We should be able to understand that even though some people may be handing out constructive criticism, there will always be other people that want to see you do worse than them. Regardless of their intentions, it's important to always remember yours. What do you want to get out of life? What do you want to achieve?

I'm 100% sure that I don't want to reach retirement and regret not fulfilling my potential just because someone said that I wouldn't be able to. A person who hasn't failed, hasn't tried. You are not a failure, if you fail and get back up to try again. Your future is UP TO YOU

The video below summarises what I have said, but I think the message is more powerful when it's heard. I advise you to listen/watch the video twice.

My Week in Pictures | 16.02.15-22.02.15

Hey guys,

It's Monday. And guess what that means? Im back with another #MWIP post. The last week was meant to consist of loads of hardcore revision but that obviously didn't happen.

Enough of my failed revision schedule, let's get started.

1) I feel like this quote is the best way to start the week. I was sent this in my motivational group chat and I felt the need to share it with you. Often, we give up because the process may seem too long and we haven't seen any progress. However, this quote assures us that progress will happen, we just won't be able to realise it straight away.

2) This is an outfit I created for the company Farfetch. I was asked to share their infographic with my lovely readers. Check my last post to see the other outfits I created.

3&4) On Saturday, my family and I went to my little cousins dedication and birthday party in Basildon. The pictures you see above are of the food that we were served. Overall, the food was alright; the chicken lacked seasoning and I absolutely hate vegetables. But on the bright side, the desert was delicious.

That's it for this weeks edition of #MWIP. What have you done this week? Have you been to any nice restaurants? What's your favourite quote at the moment? Hope you enjoyed this post. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post.

See you soon,

How Bad Do You Want It? | #WAKEUPWEDNESDAYS

Hey guys,

Hope you've had a great week so far; and if you haven't there's still some time to make it better.

Some people know exactly what they want to be when they're older, whilst others might have a bunch of different ideas. Regardless of your situation, the one question you need to keep asking yourself is;

"How Bad Do You Want It?"

If you don't know how bad do you want it, then you will not be extremely driven to succeed. You should want to achieve your goal so bad that if you don't achieve  it, it would be like not being to get any air. Your dream should be so big that it should scare you.

Picture how different your life would be if you were able to make your dream reality. What would be so different? Do you like what you see? Now picture your reality. Do you want to stay in this situation forever? If no, what do you have to change to make your dream come true?

Sometimes we need to mentally visualise our dream or to see someone else achieve one of our goals; in order for us to realise how bad we want it.

If we dont know how bad we want it, we will not be able to realise the significance that it might make to our life.

Enough of me, watch the video below to hear exactly what I'm talking about.

I hope you've had a wonderful Wednesday. Hope you enjoyed the video and this post but most of all I hope you feel motivated to fulfill your dreams. Have a great week!

See you soon,

I have browsed through the items on their website and I must tell you they are absolutely gorgeous. They stock brands ranging from Vans to Giuseppe Zanotti, Victoria Beckham to Michael Kors. With such a wide range of brands, they cater to the likes of everybody.

My Week in Pictures | 09.02.15-15.02.15

Hey guys,

I'm back with an addition to the #MWIP series. My phone was stolen last weekend hence I didn't post about what I did during that week.

But enough of the boring stuff, let's get right in to it.

The top 3 pictures are of the food I ordered at Chiquito's last night. My mum decided to treat me to a lovely dinner. If you know me personally, you know that I've been craving Chiquitos for roughly 3 months and my cravings were finally satisfied. I ordered BBQ Wings for a starter, Chicken & Ribs for my main and brownie and ice cream for dessert. It was just delicious. Thanks Mum!

The bottom picture is of the beautiful Anguilla. As I turn 18 next year, I have been looking for lovely places that I can go with my friends for the summer. One of my friends sent me this picture and said that we should go. How do you say no to a place that looks this amazing?

That's it for this weeks edition of #MWIP. What have you been craving? Where do you want to go on holiday? Hope you enjoyed. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post

Follow Your Dreams | #WAKEUPWEDNESDAYS

Hey guys,

Today is the start of a new segment that I'm going to call #WAKEUPWEDNESDAYS. Through this segment I aim to motivate and inspire you all.

As a teenager growing up in this generation, I sometimes feel like I need to go down a specific path to ensure that I am successful; when that shouldn't be the case. My mum has told me multiple times to become a lawyer or a doctor because those are the professions that are known for their high pay rate. However, I know that I'm not interested in those areas and refuse to fall into a career solely because the pay is better than my desired profession.

Many people will choose a different career path just to avoid all the negative backlash from their friends and families instead of staying true to themselves. Personally, I believe that if you choose to stick to your own path, regardless of the opinions of others; those who were in disagreement with you would be in admiration of the success you have gained.

It is possible to be successful in absolutely any area of work, as long as you put the work in.

I recently came across the video below and it truly inspired me to follow my dreams and reach for the stars. It made me believe that anything is possible if I put my mind to it.

I advise that you watch this video twice. The first time you watch it, I want you to just listen to what the speaker is saying. The second time you watch it, I want you to write down anything that you feel is important and will help keep you motivated to follow your dreams.

Hope you enjoyed the video and this post but most of all I hope you feel motivated to fulfill your dreams. Have a great week!

See you soon,

Appreciate What You Have | #WAKEUPWEDNESDAY

Hey guys!

Today's post is based on appreciation. Every Wednesday I attend a motivational workshop at my school and most of the posts in this segment will be from things I learnt that day or some times it will be based on something I feel I need to talk about.

In this day and age, I feel it is extremely easy to keep wanting things. Whether it's a new jacket or a new phone; especially since there are new gadgets/products advertised on tv daily.

And other times we spend our time wishing our parents would give us more freedom or wishing our teachers would give us a break. Today in my workshop I watched a very touching video and I'm going to share it with you.

This video just emphasised the messages I hear every week. There is no time like the present and you don't know when your loved ones might be taken away from you. He chose to tell his mum that he loved her on her death bed, don't make the same mistake.

Today I ask you to go and tell all of your loved ones that you love them and appreciate them forall that they are.

For any advice/enquiries email me at beautyandtee@icloud.com.

See you guys soon,
Tee xoxo

P.S

There will be no #MWIP post this week as my phone was stolen over the weekend and I hadn't backed it up.

My Week in Pictures | 26.01.15-01.02.15

Hey guys,

So I'm back with another #mwip. I think this one is particularly interesting because of what happened over the weekend and since some of you are probably screaming at your screens, just hoping that I would quit babbling (can I still say that if I'm blogging?) and get on with it.

It's time to end the suspense.

1) From my previous #mwip, you all know that I have been struggling with my food options. No, I am still not amazing at it but I have improved quite a bit. There is quite a bit of rice on the plate but there's also some lovely homemade salad and lemon tea.

2) I try extremely hard to stick to my blogging schedule and post every Monday and Wednesday but I'm not very good at it. I was nominated for the Liebster Award a while ago and I finished writing the post on Tuesday, however I don't know how to tag the bloggers I'd like to nominate in my post. Does anyone have any idea? I guess that post will have to wait until I get an answer.

3) Have you seen the phrase "Believe in Your Slay" or "SnatchedXO" hovering all over Twitter? No? Boy, oh boy. It doesn't matter. Earlier this month I was given the opportunity to write for a upcoming forum called SnatchedXO. Picture 3 is if the post I wrote for them. The post hasnt been edited and all ideas in the post are my own. Why don't you head over and check it out snatchedxo.com/lifestyle/how-to-get-over-your-ex/

4) Last but not least, over the weekend I attended the ICC Southern Regionals. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a cheerleading competition that takes place annually. The atmosphere is great, the people are great and the talent is amazing! I had such a great weekend with my team.

So that's what I've got up to this week. I hope you've enjoyed this post. Don't be afraid to comment below anything you'd like me to post about and give feedback. Also don't forget to follow to ensure you don't miss a single post.

Tee xoxo
